Privacy Policy

sqoochy is a toy-play app intended for children ages 6–8. This policy explains its data handling for parents and guardians. No app account is required.
Request deletion of app-related data · Android access-code information
1. Playing with sqoochy
The app includes four free toys and nine additional toys available through one permanent in-app purchase. Toy interactions and sounds are processed on the device. The app has no chat, public profiles, leaderboards, social sharing or advertising features.
We do not ask children to submit their name, email address, date of birth, photos, contacts or location. The app does not record microphone audio. This does not mean that no information is processed: purchase services receive the information described below.
2. Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes iOS payments. We do not receive payment-card details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, determine which toys are unlocked, prevent purchase fraud and restore access.
For the Android edition distributed through Google Play, Google processes payments and RevenueCat provides purchase validation and access management. This describes the Android edition's purchase setup, not a claim that it is already available for download. Google and Apple manage their own store accounts and payment records.
RevenueCat processes an automatically generated app-user identifier, purchase and transaction information, and technical information associated with requests, such as IP addresses and device or software information. A generated identifier is not the same as information that cannot identify or distinguish a user.
The purchase service starts when the app opens, including before a purchase is made, and checks access again when the app returns to the foreground. RevenueCat also provides purchase-related analytics in its dashboard. The app does not use advertising tracking or send names, email addresses or telephone numbers as RevenueCat customer attributes.
For provider information, see Apple's privacy information, RevenueCat's end-user data information and RevenueCat's Data Processing Addendum.
For Android store information, see Google's privacy policy.
3. Children and parent requests
Purchase and restore controls in the current app are protected by a grown-ups challenge. This challenge is a purchase safeguard, not age verification or verifiable parental consent to data collection.
Parents or guardians can contact us to ask about information associated with the app, request access or correction, or request deletion or an end to further collection where applicable. We may need limited information to verify your authority and locate the relevant records. Please contact us before sending documents, and do not send unnecessary personal information about your child.
We will explain any records that must be retained or any effect a request may have on app access or purchase restoration. We do not ask children to submit privacy requests themselves.
4. Support correspondence and retention
If you contact us, we use your contact details and message to answer and resolve your request. We delete routine request correspondence within 30 days after resolution. If specific records are necessary to meet a legal obligation or resolve an ongoing dispute, we retain only those records for as long as necessary, then delete them.
This 30-day period applies to correspondence we hold, not to purchase or technical records held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat. Their records are subject to separate processing and retention arrangements; we do not promise that those records are erased after 30 days or when you uninstall the app. Contact us for help with a provider-related access or deletion request.
Request deletion of sqoochy data
- A parent or guardian can email applications.mae@gmail.com with the subject “sqoochy data deletion request”. No app account is needed.
- Tell us whether you use Android or iOS and whether the request concerns support correspondence, purchase-related records, or both. Do not send your child's name, passwords, reviewer codes, payment-card information or identity documents in the initial request.
- We will explain any limited verification or transaction reference needed to locate relevant records, which records can be deleted, and any effect on restoring purchases. Store-held records may require a separate request to Google or Apple.
Routine correspondence we hold is deleted within 30 days after resolution, subject to the limited exceptions above. That deadline does not apply to RevenueCat or store-held purchase and technical records. Uninstalling sqoochy does not delete those providers' records. We do not promise automatic deletion of all app-related data within 90 days.
Android complimentary access codes
The Android Grown-ups area supports a private reusable access code. When submitted, the code is sent over HTTPS to our hosted service for verification. A successful request returns a signed access token that is saved on the device instead of the code. The token is sent for validation when the app reopens or returns to the foreground. This does not create an account, a purchase or an advertising identifier.
Choose “Remove code access” in the Grown-ups area to delete the locally saved token; this does not remove store purchases. Our application does not save submitted codes or tokens in a customer database or include them in application request logs. The service temporarily counts requests by network address to limit guessing; counters stop applying after one minute. Hosting providers may separately process network addresses and technical request logs as described below.
5. Website and service providers
This website is hosted by Replit. Hosting and email services may process contact information, IP addresses and technical request information to deliver their services and protect their systems. These privacy and support pages do not embed advertising, analytics scripts, third-party fonts or purchase SDKs.
Apple, Google, RevenueCat and hosting or email providers may process information outside Bahrain. App purchase and access-code communications use encrypted network connections. No system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Changes
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. Material changes to children's data practices will be accompanied by appropriate notice and any consent required by applicable law; continued use alone will not be treated as parental consent.
